Castles in Wales
Caerphilly Castle
Caerphilly Castle was built in the late 13th century by Anglo-Norman lord, Gilbert de Clare.
The fortress covers a huge area (30 acres) and is easily the biggest castle in Wales and,
along with Windsor and Dover, the largest in Britain.
